I picked up a VIC-20 at five and never put the machine down.
In 2014 I founded IAT Software so researchers could author, deploy, and score Implicit Association Tests without waiting on an engineer. Twelve years later I still own the stack: a 600-class WinForms client that is being rewritten in WPF on .NET 10, a Java/Spring administration server, and the protocol that ties them together.
The original WinForms client is 600+ classes, 50+ custom UI objects, and real multithreading. It delivered a working product used by academic labs and psychology classes. It also became expensive to change. The WPF rewrite is how the product survives the next decade — deliberate, layered, and built to last.
I am not looking for a framework to join. I am looking for a product that needs an owner.
